When I had my son 2 years ago, there were issues right away, as he was born still. Luckily, he’s a strong little boy and came back! He was very sick afterwards and it made my postpartum depression even worse. He ended up having lifesaving surgery at 3 weeks old. His kidneys shut down and it took a while to recover, but he did so well! In the time of my postpartum depression, I became reclusive and was unable to work or be an active member of society. During this time, my oldest kids supported me and reminded me how blessed I am. I know that I could never explain or express my gratitude to them to understand how much they saved me. I would be most grateful if I could make this Christmas the best one yet for all of them. Thank you so much.
Christmas Wish Letter #2
Dear Christmas Wish, I am writing to you on behalf of a family that is very near and dear to my heart. This couple has been having a very rough couple of years. Their father was injured at work, resulting in losing his job. After that, he had to have surgery which is still causing complications and an inability to work and do the things we all take for granted. Their mother had to switch jobs to be able to be at home and take care of everything with him and their 3 small children. And because they are loving people, they recently took in a family member whose education was not being met at their previous school district. Their household now has 3 adults, and 4 children, ages 1 through 10. As you can imagine, the budget is tight. With Christmas coming up, I don’t know what they’re going to do. If any help could be given, they will be eternally grateful. Thank you.
Christmas Wish Letter #3
Dear Christmas Wish, we are looking for a Christmas miracle this year as we are falling on hard times. I recently lost my job due to health issues. And things have continued to get worse – our furnace stopped working and needs replaced. And to top it off, my one of our cars broke down and we are now down to one car. We typically don’t ask for help but this time, we truly need it. We have 2 girls at home, ages 4 and 14, and we want to be able to have a great Christmas for them! Thank you and God bless.

Dear Christmas Wish, I am writing to you for my son and his family. As you know, Christmas can be one of the most magical and memorable times of the year for a child. It can also be the most stressful and depressing time for parents who are struggling and want nothing more than to see joy on their little ones faces. I am afraid that my son falls into that category this year. They recently welcomed their youngest into the world… and ever since the baby was born, they have been in and out of Pittsburgh hospitals. With one income, one car, and such small fragile children, it’s taken a toll on them financially, mentally, and physically. I want nothing more than to see them have a wonderful Christmas. Could you please make this possible? Thank you!!!

Dear Christmas Wish, I am a single mom struggling to make ends meet. My twins are almost 4 years old and I have two older children that I’m trying to gain custody of. Last fall, I suffered health issues that caused me to lose my job. I have not had much luck finding another job due to doctors’ appointments and being there for my kids. Lately, to make ends meet, I have been selling clothes and furniture for necessities. I have no idea how I will make Christmas special for my girls, with all of the income I do receive going straight to rent and utilities. I am not one to ask for help, but this year I truly need it for my kids, they are my world. Thank you!

Dear Christmas Wish, I am writing this letter for my granddaughter. She’s 29 and the mother of two, ages 9 and 11. Last year after Christmas, she left her boyfriend. She was able to get some of her stuff back, but he burned what was left! She is working two jobs and trying to make ends meet for them. Any help would be greatly appreciated and a huge weight lifted off her shoulders to make sure they have a great Christmas. It would mean the world.

Dear Christmas Wish, I would love for my brother and his family to have a great Christmas. It’s been really hard for them this year, as his truck broke down and he lost his good paying job. Then 3 months later, his wife lost her car. Because of all of this, and job changes, they are behind on bills and their mortgage is months behind. They have tried everything to make ends meet, and they are truly at their final breaking point. If you could find it in your heart to help out with gifts for their 10 year old daughter, that would be great. None of us want her to miss out on the magic of Christmas, and she knows that Santa is watching! Thank you.

Dear Christmas Wish, I am writing to you about a special family in Venango County. The father’s life has recently took an unexpected turn as he has started to lose his vision, ultimately forcing him to leave his job as a truck driver – a career that he loved doing to support his family. As of right now, they are really struggling to afford essential expenses. Due to his vision impairment, he cannot perform basic home repairs and upkeep… and to make matters worse, their furnace is broken and they cannot afford to fix it for the winter. It is my sincere hope that they will get some relief this year, just in time for Christmas so both him and his daughter will not have to worry and enjoy what this time of year is truly about. Thank you.

“Christmas Wish 2024” OFFICIAL RULES
- Eligibility and Limitations:
- Participants must be 18 years of age or older when the contest begins 11/01/2024
- No purchase necessary for participation. Odds of winning are 1 in “However many people choose to participate”
- Employees of 7 Mountains Media, “Christmas Wish 2024” participating sponsors and their advertising agencies, employees of other radio or television stations, and members of the immediate family of any such persons are not eligible to participate and win. The term “immediate family” includes spouses, siblings, parents, children, grandparents, and grandchildren, whether as “in-laws,” or by current or past marriage(s), remarriage(s), adoption, co-habitation or other family extension, and any other persons residing at the same household whether or not related.
- Only one winner per household throughout the duration of this contest.
- 7 Mountains Media reserves the right to make rule, contest or date changes at any time.
- The decision of 7 Mountains Media regarding participants and winners is absolutely final.
- Contest is open to Pennsylvania Residents only who hold a valid article of state identification.
- The winners cash prize may be picked up at the front desk of Seven Mountains Media main office at 900 Water St., Meadville, PA Prizes not picked up within 30 days of contacted will be forfeited.

- Indemnification:
All participants will be considered contestants of the“Christmas Wish 2024” and will hold 7 Mountains Media free from liability of any kind to person or property arising from participation in “Christmas Wish 2024” promotional contest.
- Value/Prize(s):
The Salvation Army will address this with those who are selected. The prize(s) that may be awarded to the eligible winner(s) are not transferable, or exchangeable for any other prize. All prizes must be redeemed from 7 Mountains Media within thirty (30) days of the contest end date, unless otherwise stated in the contest’s official rules. Certain prizes are date specific and the winner or winners must be available on the dates specified. 7 Mountains Media disclaims all liability for any delays, mis-delivered, loss, or failure in the delivery of any prize requested to be sent by mail. If a winner cannot be contacted or is disqualified for any reason, 7 Mountains Media reserves the right to determine an alternate winner or not to award that winner’s prize, in its sole discretion. Prizes must be claimed by winner after presented proper legal identification.
- Publicity:
By participating, all participants and winner(s) grant 7 Mountains Media exclusive permission to use their names, characters, photographs, voices, videotape, and likenesses in connection with promotion of this and other contests and waive any claims to royalty, right, or remuneration for such use. By participating in any 7 Mountains Media contest, participants agree that 7 Mountains Media may disclose personal information obtained from participants in the Contest to third parties and use such information for marketing and other purposes.
- Conduct, Decisions and How to Play:
- The Christmas Wish is extending a helping hand to deserving families over the holidays. With a partnership with The Salvation Army Corps, The
Christmas Wish solicits letters from listeners nominating local individuals and/or families in need of assistance. Letters will be submitted online on
Participating Radio Station(s) website or mailed to Participating Radio Station(s) address listed above between November 1, 2024 and November 18, 2024. All letters will be turned over to the Participating Non-Profit Organization who will determine the beneficiaries of the Charitable Bequests. Between Monday, November 25, 2024 and Friday, December 20, 2024, Participating Radio Station(s) will air selected recipient letters. Between Monday, November 25, 2024 and Friday, December 20, 2024, Listeners will be directed to submit monetary donations towards any of the selected letters.
- Donations are to be made payable to Salvation Army Corps and can be hand delivered to Participating Radio Station address: Christmas Wish, C/O 900
Water Street, Downtown Mall. Meadville, Pa. 16335.
- A Nomination for a charitable bequest from the project does not guarantee that a bequest will be awarded.
- Persons who violate any rule, gain unfair advantage in participating in the Contest, or obtain winner status using fraudulent means will be disqualified.
- Unsportsmanlike, disruptive, annoying, harassing or threatening behavior is prohibited.
- 7 Mountains Media will interpret these rules and resolve any disputes, conflicting claims or ambiguities concerning the rules or the Contest.
- Any attempt by an entrant or any other individual to deliberately circumvent, disrupt, damage or undermine the legitimate operation of this Contest is a violation of criminal and civil laws. Should such an attempt be made, 7 Mountains Media reserves the right to seek civil and/or criminal prosecution and/or damages from any such person to the fullest extent permitted by law.
